Small Change Leads to Big Changes

BLF TIP (2).png

Most of us have areas of our lives we would like to change. Who hasn’t wanted a better job, better grades, weight loss, or to improve an aspect of their life? How do we change? How do we make the change lasting and sustainable? Here’s some thoughts:

1. Set goals: Your destination needs a route. What goals are necessary to achieve your change? Write them out! Make a list. Visualize them.

2. Small change leads to big changes: The best change always starts small. One step at a time. One day at a time. Whether losing pounds or facing addiction, start small. One step at a time. You will have falls, but always make forward momentum. Follow your goals and make small changes. They add up!

3. Don’t be afraid to ask for help: Change is difficult. It’s a battle again past bad habits, nay-sayers, and, sometimes, a battle against yourself. You don’t have to wage war alone! Build yourself a tribe of individuals dedicated to lifting you up when you fall. Don’t be afraid to lean on these people. Don’t be afraid to seek out experts in your change or issue. Don’t be afraid to ask for help!

Change is difficult but possible. Remember small change leads to big change. Don’t hesitate to contact the BLF to assist you in your journey.
